Gameloft reveals official release date for Asphalt 8: Airborne

Back at the Nexus 7 launch event, Google announced that the next installment of the popular Asphalt racing series would be released on August 8th— that day is long gone and we still have yet to see the release of the game. But we do have some good news, as Today Gameloft announced a formal launch date via Twitter— August 22nd.Asphalt 8: Airborne looks like its going to be a great game, especially with its upgraded graphics engine, real-time multi-player and tons of other features built in. Only 7 more days until you can finally get your hands on it!
